Not a computer person but love minecraft.
My fiance and I just created a server for ourselves. I want to add a large Pre-Built city to our world in 1.9.
Not sure if it's possible to just add a city to a world or not.

It is possible. But a lot of work.
Try to start with this and you have a good base to explore. https://web.archive.org/web/2020/http://www.minecraftworldmap.com/worlds/.../72/-1/0/0
