Removal requests

This archive keeps old Minecraft worlds and posts so they are not lost. But if something here is yours and you want it taken down, we will remove it. You do not need to give a reason.

What can be removed

• a world you uploaded, or the download link to it;
• a forum post or comment you wrote;
• your name, on any page where it appears.

The world files of the 2011-2014 uploads are kept by the Internet Archive, not by us. We can remove the page and the link here; to remove the file itself, also ask the Internet Archive.

How to ask

1. Copy the link of each page on this site where the thing you want removed appears.
2. Say what to remove: the whole world page, its download, a post, or your name.
3. Show that it is yours. For example, link to a post you made under the same name on another site (such as Reddit or Planet Minecraft) that mentions this request, or send a screenshot of the world's original files on your computer. If you cannot, explain why and we will look for another way.
4. Send it to the contact address. Contact details will be added here soon.

Every request is read by a person. Once something is removed here, search engines can take a few more weeks to forget it.

New worlds, posts and accounts

Besides the archive, the site now has live accounts, a forum and new world uploads. A new world is shown only after a moderator has approved it, and its file is stored on the Internet Archive. To report a new world, post, comment or account, or to ask for it to be removed, sign in and use its Report button; moderators read every report.
