Map renders incorrectly, is zoomed out to infinity Archived · read-only

I've tried it twice and no dice. As you can see if you look at your coordinates, it appears that the world is absolutely enormous, but it's a fairly tiny place. Because of this, even zooming in does nothing. Everything appears black because it's so zoomed out. What can I do about this?

i guess there is a single chunk (maybe an back ender portal) somewhere really far away from your spawn. check your region-folder for strangely named files (normal name r.0.0.mca, r.1.0.mca, r.1.-2.mca,....; unnormal name r.6.-888000.mca) and try to delete them (backup first!!)
