hi i know this sounds like a a dumb question but how do i download this world to minecraft?

themaskedmerchant · wrote 12 years, 10 months ago

Hello i've noticed a large bug when mining on this map. For some reason when mining it will for no reason once so ever teleport me all over the place, it's a large hassle and gets annoying as hell to work around. Wondering if you knew how to/could fix this?

Hi cal

i just downloaded your map and really loved it!
I am new to minecraft, i started playing today.
While i was exploring your map, i found a petrol station and everything looked like i am supposed to use it. So my question is (sorry if it is a dumb question, but i don't know anything about mc) is there a mod or something where i can drive cars or use the pump stations or all the other stuff related to cars?

Thanks anyway for your big effort for building this map, i really love maps i have to explore!

Hello! Thank you for downloading Fortress City. I can see why you though it looks like you are supposed to use it, I try to make everything I build as realistic as possible. Unfortunately minecraft does not allow me to make the gas station functional without mods. So the answer to your question is yes, you can use the gas station and drive cars if you download certain mods. The only reason I built the roadways on the mountain was for people who liked to use the car/driving mods.

I have very limited experience with mods so I can't help you out too much but these are a few I found:

This one has oil, pipes, etc:

Car mod:

(I have not tested either but you can find several more by simply searching on google. I hope I helped you and have fun exploring!)

Thanks or your reply, I already found mods and can now drive with cars.
Thanks
