About this world

My current singleplayer world, 100% survival, work-in-progress.

Contains :
- a great tower, which is my base, with lot of features;
- an "oriental" town;
- four god statues;
- a steampunk-style quarry;
- my own version of Easter Island;
- an asian fortified village atop a hill (WIP);
- a medieval town, also built on the top of a hill (WIP);
- a mech hangar (WIP;
- ...

This world is updated regularly, sometimes very regularly, mostly because I use the map view to oversee its evolution.

Feel free to comment if you have some feedback !

Sometime I wonder if we could merge parts of our maps...
@QMD_one
Many thanks ! ^^

Good to know the tower is appreciated, I have to say I've always been a little bit concerned about its look. At the time I was building it I decided to go with an ecletic style, fusing parts that didn't really accord with each other at first thought, like the greenhouses and the "meat machine" on the top (which is heavily inspired by TheMinecraftMuse's Meatpress btw). But know I like it for its originality, and I'm keeping on with this idea, since the recent red barns don't share the same style yet they're right next to the tower.
I think I said it earlier but Miyazaki's work is a great source of inspiration for this map. The asian village is inspired by ForgeTown form Princess Mononoké, the tower's great chimney and pink dungeon obviously come from the bath palace form Spirited Away.
And when I saw Howl's Moving Castle, I've said to myself : f*** it, I don't care about coherence, I'm gonna build a tower by merging all sorts of styles ! x)

They're still work to do on the Asian village (which I named Fujiro no oka, the "purple hill") : adding houses, furnishing them, adding decorations to the streets, creating a garden behind the chief house, building a temple on the lake (I figured that the people are animists who venerate the lake since it protects them and provides them food).

It's kinda fun to know that this map inspired you, since I've also taken inspiration from Amida, for the chimneys and sewer system in te medieval town for example, or the balconies' fences made with trapdoors in the Asian village ! ^^

Wow that would be cool...

I'm currently working on the asian-ish fortified village, filling it with houses and various buildings.

New update, I'm building a fortified village atop a hill, east of the tower.
It is mainly inspired by Irontown from Princess Mononoke and I'm currently building the walls.

That's great, you deserve it. You have one of the most extensive builds I've seen on the site and mined amounts of clay I wouldn't even consider, with the veins displaced to prove it. I had to check in disbelief, very impressive work.
Haha thanks !
I have to say I love mining, it's really relaxing and I often do it while watching a series.
Plus I like to keep this map full survival, it gives the buildings more value to me, more history. And this map is already like three and a half years old.
